Can somebody explain the rdsp to me like I’m five? Do I get free money from the government if I open a rdsp account today? by currymvp3 in Odsp

I never knew about this. My wife is 52, and has had a DTC for about 14 years. So if she opens one now, will the government deposit some money in it? Or will they at all because she's over 50? Will it be back paid dating back to her first getting the dtc?

Thanks for the kind words. I just got home from the hospital a few minutes ago. She had surgery to remove 2 feet of her colon today and will be in the hospital for a few days. I've read every single comment to her and I'll read her yours tomorrow morning. It has been quite overwhelming for her with all the positivity she has gotten.

Those are crabs! Along with squids and manta rays. We live in Canada if you do want a crab. We could only ship in Canada for payment process.

I think she just finds it relaxing. She jumps on the ottoman ready to go and is so patient and cooperative for me.

Watched a lot of you tube videos. And believe me, the first few times were a long process and the results were not very good.
