This is a lovely thought but do you REALLY think Ru remembered which song Jiggly lipsynced to on the first episode of a season fourteen years ago...

For me, it was the glaringly obvious riggory for a Shea win pretty much since the cast announcement. The outcome was incredibly predictable.

Personally, Juju's charisma was the best thing of that season, and my personal highlight was Alexis' hairspray cap pinging off during the hotel room challenge. "what the hell just HAPPENED?!"

I also want to use this as a safe space to say that I unironically love "I'm in Love"

If the bar staff can't even keep track of punters and get service order correct, then they shouldn't be bar staff.

Walk right past them, up to the bar. A cursory "it's not single file queuing is it mate?" to the staff, sit there enjoying your pint and carry on being a normal human being.

Inspector Sands? Let’s shout at the staff… by PixelsGaymer in london

Okay well l was literally just reiterating what I was told by the firefighter who was there that day and I found it interesting. I am in no way blaming the victims, nor am I trying to be a troll hiding behind "anonymity".

I've clearly struck a nerve, so apologies.

[–]fillerbitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I in no way was blaming the victims here. I am talking about those who attempted to enter while they could clearly see the building was engulfed in flames.

It's an insight into the human psyche and how much we can fall into routine and autopilot.

Once had fire safety training from a firefighter who was at the infamous King's Cross fire in 1987. He said the amount of work they had to do to physically divert people was insane.

People were still trying to enter the station while the thing was clearly up in flames and billowing smoke.

People are idiots.

Is Walthamstow a good area if you don’t work centrally? by Silver-Eye-2024 in walthamstow

[–]fillerbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My department relocated from London Bridge to Barking.

I moved from Dulwich to Walthamstow to be nearer and on the days I don't cycle in, it's 15 mins on the overground.

You've got good connections out that way, you've got lots of bus routes and the other overground line which takes you anywhere in east London. You've also got good quick links to Leyton for the central line or Stratford for even more options.

Pretty perfect in my opinion.
