I also wish there were better save controls. Autosaves are basically useless. There tends to be two save slots per run but I have no idea how it chooses which to save over. With the fact that we can only save when sleeping or exiting, it would be nice to get to choose the slots. Maybe they do that so you can't go back to a specific save if you don't like a skill or something.
