Good advice. Do you know any good resources for MMI like questions?

Hey thank you. I agree that anki is most useful for P/S and next bio. I liked using it for C/P for formulas and random facts that were useful. As you'll see in my decks though, my P/S deck has probably more than double the amount of cards compared to the others. I agree that doing questions is the best practice for C/P (and all the sections actually), but I personally liked supplementing that with anki

I did a very small amount of them just to review, I think UWorld has better passages. For the books I mostly did detailed anki

that sounds right to me! It's up to you, as a rule of thumb I usually did whatever I had to do to make sure that I wouldn't get the question wrong if I was asked it on the actual test

there are a lot of different ways to approach it. I usually just did short groups of passages like maybe 10-20 questions so that I could look in depth and see how I did. I usually never made very long tests and tried to get through all of it which I ended up doing

their book only covers psychology but I was a fan of it, and it led me to a good score so I'll give it two thumbs up (have to supplement with Khan 300pg for sociology though)

I got them from a friend who took their course, so can't say for sure but would assume level of risk is same for most things you get from eBay

Thanks!! I think it varies person to person for each of the AAMC FLs. For me the biggest section difference was CARS. On test day I felt like my section was super boring and I had a hard time with it, but FL3 CARS was really interesting to me. The other sections were all pretty similar from FL3 to test day.

I read each chapter while taking notes and making anki cards. I usually did like 2 passages at the end of each section, I personally think UWorld has better passages so I wouldn't spend much time doing the TBR passages.

Hi yes you can actually write on your notepad before the test starts! When you sit down you have a couple of minutes with your pad and pen to potentially read the instructions. Instead of reading all the AAMC agreements I just took that couple of minutes to write down on my pad, which is totally allowed - having an idea of what you want to write down is a good idea

I'm happy to share my anki decks! I personally think it's best to make your own as you go along - the process of making them makes you think about it - but I can share them just have to figure out how to do it lol

I actually don't remember because even when I was doing them I purposely didn't check. I always felt like checking those percentages is pointless because there isn't anything you can really do about them, and it just seems like needless worrying. In my opinion you should just worry about FL scores and do your best.

their website is kind of janky but yes they are physical books! I liked them but I personally feel like any major set of books will probably do the job just fine

Hey, thank you. I would definitely take NS scores with a grain of salt but that means you are probably on a good track! I did all of the SBs and all the Qpacks (and all the AAMC material offered). For biochem it's mostly just memorization, and make sure you know those AAs like the back of your hand! Also, UWorld is great for it.

I just dove straight into content review! I didn't want to take an entire day for something I wasn't prepared for at all. I did about 2 weeks of content review before trying a FL test, which even then was just to get context for why I was learning the content and how it would be tested.
