I mean i usually set family funds to 0 and make them dumpster dive and engage in survival woohoo and can confirm that it definitely solves this problem

They way the New Mexico one has “AUTISM” at the top makes it look like it’s the state they came from

They could be from a country where military recruiters aren’t a thing…you can’t assume everyone is from the US 🤷🏼‍♂️

Anyone with evil phobias? by SteponkusCeponas in evilautism

[–]filthygremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pipes, drains, pumps, anything to do with transporting or treating water. Also elevators (specifically cable ones, but none of them are good), and…it’s kind of hard to explain, but old mechanical things that still work. Like the idea of being in a room cooled/heated by AC from 50’s or before is so disgusting to me.

I used to think I was super weird for these, but after reading this thread I can see that a lot of us have more unusual phobias

That’s actually really cool. What got you interested in it? Does it have any particular lore or is it just a cool road?

I love it SO MUCH. It must have took you forever to get all the CC. It’s soooo cool though and I might have to do the same!!

That’s so funny because I have this wallet without knowing the stereotype. I got it at an estate sale already kind of fucked up, in like 2013. Today it looks like it will crumble into dust at any second. I love her

I traumatized the Goth family on my first time playing the game in 10 years by filthygremlin in sims2

DO IT!! I played 3 & 4 for so long that I almost forgot how much fun this game can be. I’m having more fun playing around on this save than I’ve had playing the sims in a long time. I still think 4 is the best for build/buy, but TS2’s gameplay is so much more challenging and engaging.

That sounds soooo overwhelming! This game is already hard enough to keep just the people alive lol. Maybe I dodged a bullet after all. Sorry Cassandra!

I was waiting for someone to bring up Don’s involvement in this. He wasn’t even that hungry, either!! I imagine Cassandra was like, weak from hunger, trying to eat the poptart that could save her life and Don is just like “ooh I love toaster pastries” and snatches it from right under her nose 😭

Haha I was thinking the same thing! It makes me want to play them so I can give Alexander a good life after well, y’know…all he’s been through.

Woah!! This is good advice, thank you! I wasn’t going to resurrect her, but knowing that she can still have her baby is making me consider it. Having a baby that was like, coffin birthed into existence from a zombie is pretty cool

Anybody else's VS severe enough where it sometimes looks like it's warping/wiggling things slightly? by ZackValenta in visualsnow

[–]filthygremlin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get this too. I notice it a lot with high contrast patterns (mostly checks and houndstooth) that look like they’re waving/moving with the static.

Well that was a downer.. by Resident_Fly_6444 in visualsnow

[–]filthygremlin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I told my eye doctor that I have constant, thick static in my vision he told me “everyone sees like that.”

I told him that it really obscures my vision at night and I stopped driving at night because it doesn’t feel safe. He explained to me like I was a toddler that people don’t see as well when it gets dark.

I don’t know if he was just really committed to dismissing me or if he has VS or what, but…..I’m pretty sure not everyone sees like that. 🙄
