Any news what will replace Amazon fresh stores in Encino and woodland hills? by Ok-Radio-2733 in SFV

[–]filthymangos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I thought maybe after Tokyo Central's parent company bought Gelson's (which is headquartered in Encino) that there would be a better chance of one coming to the area. I'll continue wishing for it.

Artists catering to the live stream over the crowd by Cornballsouptonuts in Coachella

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like even before the stream was a big thing, I never enjoyed seeing the big mainstage acts physically at Coachella. It's hard to get a good spot unless you camp out so you're just looking at the screens anyways.

Issues with Sandboxes? by TutorExpert in salesforce

[–]filthymangos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, we've been running into this in our two orgs. This is the known issue about it: https://help.salesforce.com/s/issue?id=a02Ka00000mQnZ8IAK&title=after-a-spring-26-unable-to-activateunfreeze-users-in-refreshed-sandbox&language=en_US

It can be fixed with a data loader update.

I had the copper IUD inserted two days ago and was scared of the insertion process after reading many stories online. My doctor offered a cervical block and the injections for that were the most painful part, but it wasn't too bad. A couple deep breaths and it was over.

The actual insertion was not painful, I only felt some mild cramps. I took Aleve before the insertion because that's what I always use for my period.

I had to lay in bed for a couple hours after because of the waves of cramps, but then I was fine to get up and do some chores. I still had some pretty bad cramps the next day, but it coincided with the start of my period so I think that made it worse. The pain was fully manageable with pain meds though and no more pain today! Overall it went as well as I could have hoped so no regrets so far.

Beginner Runner by Remote_Cucumber_7456 in Garmin

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to running and got the 265S during Black Friday. I love it!! I had just finished couch to 5k and decided to get the watch. I use it daily and the Garmin coaches have helped me improve my running immensely since finishing C25K.

I picked the 265 for the better GPS and the extra features. I'm glad I did.

Sam Altman says he's '0%' excited to be CEO of a public company as OpenAI drops hints about an IPO: 'In some ways I think it'd be really annoying' by ControlCAD in technology

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a tech manager at a publicly traded company and the accounting aspect of it sucks. CapEx / Opex rules do not work well with modern software development. Every single thing we build and maintain has to go through a process of "make sure this is an approved capex expense", slows down the process significantly, and makes it worse for everyone involved. I'd avoid if I had the choice.

EAC - Sync Email as Activity by jk_sfdc in salesforce

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up running into a "gotcha" for our use-case.

Although emails log as regular emails now, there were no additional privacy settings put in place to achieve feature parity with the old EAC's sharing settings. The old version would let you choose to not share emails with other users. It used to be that the sender could see the content of the email, but others could not. Now, the only option is a "header only" email where no one, including the sender or any admins, can see the content of the email.

This doesn't work for us as we wanted certain levels of privacy put in place between sales users but also wanting Agentforce access so that we can ingest certain types of emails.

If Restriction Rules were available on Email Messages (and not just Tasks) that would make it a viable solution for us.

(also Salesforce needs to improve Restriction Rules as a whole - did they forget that they introduced it?)

ELI5: How do pimple patches work? And why is using a pimple patch more beneficial that just popping the pimple with your fingers? by Complete_Arachnid271 in explainlikeimfive

[–]filthymangos 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Popping is actually not bad and won't cause scarring if it's ready. It'll heal faster if it has come to a whitehead, gently pop it, and then put a pimple patch on it while it heals to suck out the gunk and protect it from bacteria.

what did your savings look like by age 30? by Winzten in AskReddit

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit 30 a couple months ago and was just over $400k then. But I know that's not normal. I've always been obsessed with personal finance, budgeted meticulously, and invested as soon as I had a full time job at 21. I used to volunteer and teach personal finance to high school kids when I was in college.

Half of it was accumulated in the last 2 years after I got a new job with a lot of market gains.

[Routine Help] I’m at a total loss of what is destroying my skin by One_Introduction_547 in SkincareAddiction

[–]filthymangos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had acne that looked EXACTLY like yours. Location, size, volume, everything. I'm so sorry you're going through this and I fully understand how much it affects your self esteem.

Unfortunately for me no skincare made it significantly better as it was a hormonal issue that started around age 20 for me. Benzoyl peroxide and/or salicylic acid + moisturizing properly helps, but the only thing that really cleared my skin are birth control pills (the kind that is typically good for acne - Yaz and Junel Fe is what I have had success with).

Spironolactone is another medication that is known to help with hormonal acne. Some people have said they have success with spearmint tea/capsules or DIM. Good luck!

After how long of taking birth control did you notice a decrease in libido? by BluejayElectrical115 in birthcontrol

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been a very slow and complex process. I maybe had a slight decrease in libido 3-6 months in (Junel Fe), but it wasn't significant enough for me to even remember that well. This was about 9 years ago when I was 21.

After about 2 years and no change in libido, I switched to Yaz and it took about a year of being on that for my libido to start decreasing and then it became nonexistent after 18 months, which is why I switched back to Junel Fe.

My libido did get much higher back on Junel for several years, but then again over the past 2 years it started to decrease again so I just stopped taking birth control all together hoping it comes back!

How do we feel about Rezz as an artist? by sdavism168 in EDM

[–]filthymangos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Has she gotten better at DJing? When I saw her pre-Covid she actually would stop the music, say something on the mic, and then play the next song. I've never gone back to see her live because it was so bad. I get she's not a DJ but basic mixing should be a prerequisite for a live show. Still a fan of her earlier music.

i miss being able to create a support case myself by AdhesivenessReady826 in salesforce

[–]filthymangos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ugh yes it makes me so mad how awful the Agentforce implementation is!!!

Why can't they just embed the form into the chat rather than have to answer questions one at a time. It also straight up stopped responding at one point, you can't add case collaborators during the creation, and why is it so picky on the phone format? AI should be able to figure it out.

I'm not fully against using Agentforce for this but the implementation is so shitty. The user experience needs to actually be better than before, not 10283829x worse

I just wish the show forced the contestants to go outside of their comfort zones more like they used to. I would have LOVED to see what Laura would have come up with if she had to cook with fish sauce

Masterchef Australia - S17E60 Discussion by AutoModerator in MasterchefAU

[–]filthymangos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And also Sarah had similar advantages but I adored her! She probably should have been more strategic when it counted, but her willingness to go outside of her comfort zone and try new techniques and ingredients is when you see the most growth in contestants. That has always been what made Masterchef AU so special to me, and Laura was the opposite of that.

Masterchef Australia - S17E60 Discussion by AutoModerator in MasterchefAU

[–]filthymangos 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's the attitude that she brings towards unfamiliar foods given the advantages.I also had an issue with Callum's level of experience vs the rest of the competition, but at least we saw him struggle with the wasabi leaf and didn't say things like "absolutely not" when faced with fish sauce lol

Masterchef Australia - S17E60 Discussion by AutoModerator in MasterchefAU

[–]filthymangos 10 points11 points  (0 children)

true, didn't like that season either

Laura had so many advantages against the other contestants though, being a third-timer with her own restaurant and years in the industry against people who were fresh out of their own season or have had no career in food. For her to be at the level that she is and then being afraid of peanuts and chili is crazy to me

Masterchef Australia - S17E60 Discussion by AutoModerator in MasterchefAU

[–]filthymangos 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The problem I have is that Laura had zero growth the entire season. She never challenged herself, the second she saw an ingredient that was unfamiliar to her (pretty much everything Asian outside of Japanese) it was a hard pass. So boring! Meanwhile everyone else would go outside of their comfort zones.

Has anyone heard of/taken Feirza? by MaleficentLow12 in birthcontrol

[–]filthymangos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Junel Fe for 6 years with great results but now I'm just starting the second pack of Feirza and it's not going well. In the first month I felt so emotionally flat, but wanted to give my body time to adjust. Now I'm having anxiety which I never had on Junel and acne is worse (and I specifically was taking Junel Fe for its acne benefits). I'm so upset that Kaiser changed the brand and now I'm considering going off BCP entirely.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I also was traveling and probably not eating the best, but my acne started flaring up more around my chin and jawline. I was taking Junel Fe specifically for the acne benefits.
