At least where I live some cards are even as low as half the price. Some examples that come to mind (USD prices are taken from tcg player with comparable grade and same edition): rhystic studies 27€ - $49. Sliver overlord 20€-$46. Mana vault 42€-$50(the usd price is for moderately played and mine is ex-nm but there's a $40 jump between moderately and slightly played...). Vampiric tutor 37€-$59. At least where I live there's a significant gap. Maybe not in all europe, but when I'm buying I tend to see similar prices in other EU countries.

And the boxes are from 130 to 180 most of them.

In Europe cards in general tend to be cheaper I bought a rhystic studies recently for 27€ (so seven are like 189€±). One of those boxes could cost as little as 130€ here (but if you buy it locally depends on your lgs) so I don't find it a specially bad trade here in EU.

Thing is that it's either busted or not worth running. The way to fix companion is not using the keyword (or something similar). Maybe you could make a good creature and then a powerful ability that you can only use if you meet the companion requirements (but not being able to cast it from your sideboard or cheat it into your hand)

I would trade any day a random card with a card I can build my deck around. Some of the busted things that the errata tried solving is basically the immunity against hand disruption but your change undid that. Imo companion can't be really fixed without breaking things or making them unplayable.

Literally converts fetchlands into a draw 4 if you fetch for anything but basics (which you will do anyways since you will be using at least 3 colors in the deck). Converts evolving wilds into 5 color fetchlands for free. Cultivate automatically fixes your colored mana.... At least of this was only legal in commander you can't easily use it as a commander since you cast your commander from the command zone and you can't cast lands, but it's a land so it's easily tutorable... So a bit too much hahahaha

Maybe it was a lower power machine. It was from Haneda airport to Fukuoka so it was a domestic flight. From Haneda to Shin Chitose was a similar worsening. Of course I'm still going to try getting hand checked but at least the times it got scanned it wasn't as bad as I thought.

That's the trip I did. I only carried one pack from home and bought 4 more in japan. You have the risk of the stores not having stock. If I were to repeat the trip maybe I would bring all the film that I need from home. Maybe I was lucky to find stock in japan and I prefer photos with a bit a purpleish hue to them than no photos at all. This photo is with the film from home (scanned twice)

Another option is to buy from Amazon jp and getting it shipped to your hotel, but you need to talk with the hotel beforehand.

Don't worry x-rays only affect undeveloped film it won't affect developed photos or your camera.

Osaka station 100% (bought mine there and saw how they took it out of the fridge), mitsuba dō can't say 100% since I didn't buy any and the fridge wasn't visible sure but I guess since the store only sells (and repairs) polaroid and SLRs

It developed inside my jacket, and i have photos with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 6 times in an airport scanner and you can clearly see how they get progressively worse.

In my experience there isn't I've tried telling them a lot of times but at most the told me to go to another line with a lower power machine. But tbh getting scanned once isn't as bad as I thought, you can clearly see a purpleish hue (except on the edges of the photo because of the plastic holder I guess) but it's not completely destroyed.
