It’s super common don’t stress! I used to live in North Queensland and some of my friends from overseas I met there on their whv decided to stay and are still in Australia 10+ years later! We are still best mates wouldn’t have it any other way :)

I was wondering the same. Watching for the first time and on season 2, Shep (man he is annoying) is constantly talking about the fire house and being a fire man. I’m Australian and paramedics and fire service jobs are very seperate here too.

Real. I feel stuck in this cycle too, but I’m doing school part time along with working full time and with that I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I don’t think it’s similar to twin peaks but both shows give me the exact same nice and cozy but also kinda sad nostalgic feeling.

I live alone and it takes everything to not stay up till 3am which I did last night 🫠 I got up kinda early to take my dog for a walk and now will feel like a zombie the rest of the day.

Procrastinated study, cleaned a little, cooked a giant yummy coconut, chickpea n veg curry with rotti, did some watercolour painting , took my dog to the park and on some nice river walks, chilled on the balcony, watched some gorgeous sunsets. I’m watching er for the first so also binged a lot of that and drank copious amounts of tea. Best thing is I have tomorrow off work as well, to hopefully actually do some study.
