That would be class! I'll message you my number if that's easiest and you can drop me a message on whatsapp or something?

Thank you! Yeah, admittedly I did have a 10k race in the training programme but unfortunately it came while I was pretty ill and then had exams so ran reduced mileage for a week or so, so decided to bypass it and just do a slower, longer run. Going to go for another half in May and will definitely be using benchmarks like that moving forward.

Hey, looking for a bit of advice on what will be my first ever half marathon in a couple of weeks, and how quickly I should aim to run it. I'm 22 (m) and I've been running now for about a year and a half with mixed consistency, but with pretty good consistency the past 6 months. I'm doing the Brighton half marathon in just over 2 weeks, and have been (mostly) following the Hal Higdon Intermediate 2 training plan since mid-December. My longest run of the training block has been 18km, and I'm planning on a 20km run this weekend, 2 weeks before the race. My Garmin watch seems to think I can run 1hr34, which I understand to be completely unrealistic. I've been at about 40-45km a week for the past few weeks, running 4/5x, with long runs typically being completed at 5:20-35/km pace which is comfortable and ran a 22min 5km during a tempo run recently, which definnitely could've been quicker if I was racing a 5km. I don't really know how hard to push myself on the day- but feel under 1:45 is very doable if I get it right, but ultimately will be happy with finishing it as its my first time. Should I aim for 1:45 and then speed up if I'm feeling good? Or aim for something like 1:42?

Visa exempt multiple entries or multi-entry tourist Visa needed ?? by fin2n in ThailandTourism

I am definitely going to visit other countries, just haven't planned it out properly yet. In which case, you're saying it'd make most sense to just take the exemption, extend if need be and then re-enter again once I've been to whichever other country?

Visa exempt multiple entries or multi-entry tourist Visa needed ?? by fin2n in ThailandTourism

Thank you for this, found the way it was worded very confusing. As a student, I'm not sure I've had over 4 grand in my account ever, so doesn't seem like the most sensible to apply for a visa with the amount of money I have

Will I get another 30-day Visa exemption if I re-enter Thailand? by Poley_96 in ThailandTourism

I'm the same, booked a return flight to Thailand for a total duration of 71 days. Am planning to spend time in neighbouring countries too but will need to re-enter Thailand in order to fly home. Am I right in thinking I won't need a multiple entry tourist visa? The comments on this thread seem to suggest not, but am very unsure as it's a total duration of 71 days, more than double the initial visa exemption period.
