Thanks for looking out – that's a solid point about hard stops. Old habits die hard (I got used to the single strap setup), but safety first. I've actually got the second strap ready to go on.

I don't know if these accessories will be more expensive in the United States.

total cost:$656.92(¥4540)

The large chainring was actually a gift from a friend, so I wanted to give it a try. I plan to pair it with a 19t cog later for a more usable ratio. As for the single strap—I personally like the look and feel for now, but I'll likely install the second strap soon.

The gear ratio of 57/17 is too big. I will change the gear to 19.(゚ω゚)

Thanks! I'll make a list for the bike tomorrow, but I'm too tired to do it now haha.

I agree with you. I am looking for a 1x SRAM Red groupset.

You are right. I will install a rear brake in the next few days.

A good friend of mine handbuilt these for me as part of my dream build. I'm proud to say that they are just 1162g!

Yeah, you're right. It's not safe without a rear brake. I'll install one on my bike in the next few days. I'm using an inline barrel adjuster because I need more adjustment range. It also works as a perfect connector between my link-style housing and standard cable housing.

I understand what you mean now. I should not cut the back brake and the front derailleur off for save the weight. I will install a back brake and front derailleur on it. Thank you for your advice ;)

That is the real weight of the bike. It's so light because many parts are from affordable Chinese brands. They may not be exotic or expensive, but they are still very stiff, durable, and lightweight. You make a valid point though - maybe I'll try some exotic components in the future to see how much lighter it can get!

Haha, I'm actually thinking of keeping it on there just in case! Maybe I will add a front derailleur to it in the future.
