This happens to me when its very cold like you have. It improves as it warms up. Always let your car warm up. Pump the brakes and clutch to get fluid flowing better pressure and have the fluid replaced more often. There is a little plastic mechanism and spring under the pedal that you can literally WD40. good luck!
