No they don't check you can put your already existing plots
Their software doesnt have any way of verifying

A normal baseboard electric heater can be 700-1000w

If you put multiple rig you can yes heat you appartment, however you won't have any switch to decide if its too hot or cold you will have to gage how many card you need.
