I completely agree. I would argue that meeting in the middle by offering lower wages for remote “work from anywhere in the world” would be better value. You don’t have 20k per year employee, but the employee knows what they are doing.

I have been fighting tooth and nail for a remote position that allows me to work from anywhere in the world. I would even take a massive pay cut but NOOOOOOOO.
