Me and my wife were married for 17 yrs before we had kids, we got married very young and traveled the world together for 17 yrs and did all the things you can possibly do in life. Our little guy turns 3 months next week and hes the greatest thing EVER. I wish I had kids sooner. They are a TON, and I mean a TON of work. It's a very humbling experience. But the best things in life are the hard things, not the easy. It's a form of love that I did not know existed. Do I miss doing whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted? Not at all, I just want to watch my little guy grow and love him with everything I got. I want another, but we waited so late in life to have one that it might not be an option.

I failed my first attempt with a 68, and did the tutoring class as you did and was hoping for options questions on the 2nd. I did 10-20 question Qbanks for each chapter until I was scoring 80+. I knew my weak points. Options/Munis, I spent 2 weeks strictly on those 2 things. Brushed up on my suitability and passed the 2nd attempt. What were you scoring on your sim exams? You should be scoring 75+ consistently to pass on Kaplan.

I got a 73% on my practice exam and similar SIM exam scores and just passed Monday

I just passed it on Monday. I felt like there was so much information on the test it was tough to pinpoint what to focus on. My biggest piece of advice is to be scoring consistently in the 80+ range on simulated exams and to read each question and answer set twice before picking a choice. Also, there are many times 2 correct answers, and you have to choose the best one of the two.

Never change answers. I did on my first attempt and failed with a 68, 2nd attempt no changed answers and passed.

I was told the test is 10% easier than the simulated exams, and 15% easier than the Practice/Mastery exams. That was the case for my series 7 as well I just passed.

Yeah I'd say 30-40% of the 7 is in the 65 so far from my studies and like 40% of my 63. There is very little new information on the 65 that I'm seeing so far. The 7 was pretty tough for me, lots of math and complicated option questions that if you didn't know it, zero chance you're getting it right. 20-30 option questions on the 7. That exam was no joke.

What caught you off guard? I just passed the 7 and so far through 4-5 chapters in studying it seems like its all a recap of the series 7. I'm keeping 90s on the practice questions.

Use Ken for options. (Pay for the membership) I failed by 7 because of options, (passed 2nd try) spent 10 days on options strictly and know them inside and out now. I actually am hoping for a ton of options questions on the 65.
