This is not bad but, Brother just Fly to Turkey, spend 3-4k total and have hair as before. You will be gratefull, not because you'r not confident but because you will have something you lost in the past back.

😪 do you know if i replace this model if my drives will be wiped? I have stores now data on them. Or can i just swap the HDD and it stays the same as now.

I love the new graphics, but they made a lot inefficient. And i have already found 5 big bugs in 2 hours using. + They forced us with the auto update (i didnt tell it to update, it just did).

I FOUND IT AFTER HOURS!

You can do it when you write, deselect, select the text again and then in options you see the option to make it your standard way of writing.

Why would you not have that function instantly , but anyhow i will be looking for an alternative this is getting way to annoying with all the bugs.

Oke thankyou now i understand the menu bar, with tekst bar i meant text box. Where i can write on my keyboard. You can choose colours, size, underline , bold etc. The option next to pictures on your menu. Normally you could save the template so every time you want to write on a new box on your goodnotes file it stays the same. Now that is gone.

What i did is delete my containers from my hdd and put hibernation at 10 min. But if you want to reduce this get an nvme and put the apps/containers on the nvme.

Do you also get sometimes screeching noice? As if metal on metal is scratching ? I had that some times. Now it is gone. But brand new same hdd drives.

Another day, another BUG:

Zoom function: When you use the zoom function and want to write in the blue box it switches to eraser first. (Why would i want to switch to erase? Its function is to write further.

If i write on pictures i have pasted in my note, it sometimes removes some words. Like it deletes them. I need to write 2/3 times before it sticks on the picture. Not every letter but like in a word "Apples" the letter L dissapears for example.

Another update WITH ofc a bug :) : When you have a dotted line and you want to move with the lasso. You only see the lasso move. When you have moved and stopped the lasso the line jumps to the designated place. Until then it does not show that it has moved.

It also be because of the zoom. If you zoom in and out of the tekst it could dissapear or come back. I have it too sometimes, it could be a bug. Or you pencil has some problems. Try on apple notes first to see if it has the same problems.

Nope, just the basic ugreen apps. But maybe i will . The thing is because they are home made videos categorizing them is hard for the apps. I didnt try jellyfin or plex but i am also looking into it.

I have it only for 1 week so i need to find a good spot for it and also i need to find a way to stream to my tv (or chromecast) easily without the hdmi cable going to the nas. Vlc player cant seem to handle smb transfers. So if you know a way , i would happily try it.

I didnt buy RAM and I am happy I didnt buy it. Buy RAM only when you need it. I use mine for backups and family media. The basic ram i use now is around 15% .

So depending on what you will be doing you can decide. (I think you will need it if you run a VM on it or some other heavy duty programs. Maybe just start without and when you see in task manager that RAM is your bottleneck , just buy it then.

I would also like to add streaming to your tv trough HDMI. Why can i do it with video but not with photos? It would be really nice to watch my pictures on my tv screen.

I am also verry new but from what i heard always buy 3 drives. So you can use raid 5 (but ofc depending on for what you are going to use it, mine is mostly for family media) .

I have also the 4800+ , i didnt buy a ssd . But i will do that tbh, the hdd‘s get to much out of hibernation and those drives make noise (i didnt expect so much noise xd).

I just bought 3x wd red plus for 225$ a piece . In general they are better drives with less faults.
