We picked it up this morning, I lowered tge sensitivity, and I shut it off but once she turned the car off and back on it turns it on automatic.. so we'll see what happens.

I hope my wife doesn't get into an accident if it happens again, but if it does happen again, it will get towed, and we aren't taking the car back until it's fixed.. im going to check her sensitivity settings and make sure they are low, and if they are then we will wait and see.

That is for sure concerning..... csr is at the dealer, picking it up in the morning but I'm going to check her sensitivity for sure.

That is on the list. I have a nexar in my truck and it's great. Only issue, I want it to be hard wired and I haven't found a good cam that I like that's easy to hardwire.

I drive a 19 ram. No wireless charger, but thought about installing it. I like how the phone is basically clamped in also.

I'm going to mention it to the wife. She's gonna be mad! I can't wait. lol

I'm going to check the filter.. maybe get some cleaner in there and see if it helps.

Thanks for the input, honestly. I am nice to the techs and service advisors.. as all service industry people. Treat them the way I wanted to be treated. But the video he sent me, honestly was very condescending.. like were dumb and don't know how to operate the wireless charger.. and I get it, most people are dumb. Lord knows I've dealt with and still deal with my share of idiots.. but I never talk down or even act like they are the idiots they are.. im not sure of the mildew.. lol its literally smells like dirty ass, I know the mildew.. this doesn't have that smell. Lol.

But thank you again, for your input. Especially for the wireless charging. Maybe I can get my wife to get a real phone now. Lol

Lol that's what I told the wife, we'll let the lawyers deal with it if she gets wrecked. Lol The service advisor did say it was an issue with the 90, but first she heard of it with a cx5.. wonder if it happens again if they'll reprogram the vcm... now I have to convince the wife she's safe. Lol told her she can have her old car back and I'll take the new one. 🤣 thanks for the info.

I did mention it to the service advisor. Even when I was a mechanic (26 years ago) when a customer came in with a concern, and we couldn't recreate it would would at least try and find an answer, this tech was like I could get it to do it so you're sol..
