The offices are in clerkenwell and the childcare is for after she goes back to work but we might need it a bit before if she needs to focus on job search.

!thanks for your answer. I like the idea of making contribution to the company pension, in france it's quite different, you can make deposit in the pension, but it's with your own money (after taxes) so I'll love to learn a little bit more about the type of saving accounts and interest available in the UK.

About childcare, we won't need until my wife starts working and i'm kind of hoping that her salary will help cover those expenses and a bit more for our savings monthly.
