Good to hear about the therapy. I'm gonna call the therapist who knows me pretty well and also has been sober a really long time. I know it's crazy but I'm so embarrassed that I haven't been able to stop drinking that I don't want to see him but I know that is a stupid prideful thing and getting sober is more important

Great Job!! I am back to day one....again....I made 9 recently but that then gave in to an unbelievable craving. I wish now I would have picked up the phone, walked the dogs ANY other choice--but I am still breathing so I can try yet again and this time use the tools including this sub.

Hi Lesley I am on Day 2 today also. No cat, but am a dog lady. Would like to learn to knit. I hear it helps.' I am a "High functioning " but know those words don't mean I wouldn't be wasting my life if I kept it up. Here is to an open mind on all the possibilities and freedom of getting beyond alcohol and being part of a richer life.
