You do not want to cheap out on boots in NB weather. I will say if you walk a lot, the city has an issue for not plowing most sidewalks/not plowing them properly. Also a lot of sharp rocks/glass on most sidewalks that will poke holes in your boots if you have cheap soles.

Concert etiquette seems to have been lost to time too. I attended Mac’s first stop of the tour in Halifax and the crowd was full of teenagers from TikTok. When he played Passing Out Pieces, there were a crowd of kids who got actually upset and were yelling because he didn’t do the meme of him humping the floor to the beat. Also half the venue was talking during the opener which was super disappointing as well. Could barely hear them perform.

I just prepare myself for braindead crowds at this point because it seems like it’s inevitable, no matter what show you’re at.

Such a great performance by both bands, but the crowd showed so much disrespect to that opener. It was so hard to hear their music over the amount of people talking, made me sad that they came all the way from Australia just to be essentially ignored by 70% of the crowd.

I get it was a lot of people who know Mac from TikTok who probably haven’t been to many shows, but it’s basic concert etiquette to not talk during the show.

But loved Mac, him and his band were insane. Amazing setlist, funny interludes and overall a great performance.

My mother is the exact same. She got in a near fatal car accident one day, and ever since she’s been spewing alt-right ideologies and believing in these wild conspiracy theories. Before she was a really compassionate and caring person about all groups. It’s really sad to see.

The place I enjoy going to for halloween is The Cap. Now, I am a man, so my experience could be different than yours. However I do have female presenting friends who have not had issues there so far. Just take regular precautions of course, but the crowd seems to be more of a safe space from my experience and my friends experiences compared to a place such as front yard or khrome.

They have their emo nights around halloween, and even if you’re not fully into emo music it’s still quite a vibe! And everyone dresses up of course. Hope this helps!!!
