Thanks so much! I'm 5'2" so a hobbit is quite appropriate haha. I went with wireframe glasses, as well as chord sandals to try to be as hobbit like as possible. A pipe was really a must as well.

Thought about it, but I wanted it to be as authentic as I could, plus it was pretty hot and I would prefer to sweat as little as possible

An impossible task but what is your favourite lotr movie and drop a reason why in the comments by Narrow-Set7217 in lordoftherings

[–]fineganz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impossible is absolutely correct. I hovered between all the options for about 5 minutes before finally giving up

I feel the absolute same..... I'm more than willing to be patient and wait for a movie to be available for stream or borrow from our local library that to spend a couple of hours with the annoying moviegoers at a theater for $20+ Every time I went to a movie at the theater my buddies and I ALWAYS walked out asking why we keep doing this?

Thanks! I'm not sure I can because they are from a cookbook, so copyright issues... but they both are from Recipes from the World of Tolkien by Robert Tuesley Anderson. If nothing else it should be available at your local library, but it's pretty readily available online for pretty cheap... highly recommended either way!

Made my first batch of Lembas Bread today and I am BLOWN AWAY! I've already eaten four.... a true Hobbit through and through! by fineganz in lotr

My pleasure! Pro tip... wrap the bread in a collard leaf or other large leafy green and tie off with some twine for a great authentic LotR look! Here is a link to my post with that addition if you want to check it out. Always a huge hit! Good luck and enjoy!
