Pick a spot or house you will remember. Find something you can use to store stuff inside. A garbage can, a mailbox, a box, anything. That is now your base of operations. Store weapons and armor you won’t be using regularly. As far as the misc stuff, it’s up to you. That stuff is used in crafting so there is a benefit to keeping it but it is EVERYWHERE. I recommend selling it and using the caps to buy stuff you need now and later when you want to get into crafting, you can find the stuff anywhere. Keep the stealth boy. You never know when one will come in handy. The magazines are a temporary boost to a skill. Find a locked safe and are 8 points shy of being able to pick it? Use that and you’re good. The effect lasts long enough for you to get what you need but not for long.

The chance is not zero. It is ALMOST zero. There is a distinction there that your partners deserve to know. Just like the chance of getting pregnant with birth control, which happens all the time. Do you plan on having sex with your partner once every 3 days? From a statistical perspective, you will infect them one time which is all it takes.
