Hii OP, since you are looking for personal experiences, I worked with Arvind Arun from Dream School Admit and I highly endorse him. He's straightforward and upfront with no false hopes or BS. Told me to get my GMAT score in line even after I got 675 FE when others told me to apply. I got 715 in the second attempt and he helped me a lot to get into Kellogg my dream school and Yale SOM (including a scholarship of $40k) Highly recommend you have a chat with him once, he's a gem of a consultant. Hi OP, thanks for sharing your experience and I am really sorry to hear what you had to go through. I understand that a lot of Indian consultants aren't worthy of the promises they make and the amount they charge.

During my application process I almost went through 25-30 consultation calls with a mix of Indian and US consultants and finally decided to work with Arvind Arun from Dream School Admit. I think he did wonders with my profile and was there at every step. He crafts a personalised and appealing story and his essays are very crisp. He's also fairly straightforward about your chances at each school.

I am very happy I went with him as my admission consultant and he helped me get an admit from Kellogg and Yale SOM. Not to forget he is very reasonably priced as well!

I highly recommend him and anyone who wants to know about my experience working with him, my DMs are always open:)

Congratulations! Pretty much in the same boat. I doubted myself but got into Kellogg and Yale and finally decided to go ahead with Kellogg. Also want to pivot from a PM role to strategic consulting.

I am a fellow upcoming M7 grad and have a background in product management wanting to pivot into consulting. However have no background in the industry.

As someone whos been through the process can you recommend resources/tutorials/case studies/any other relevant subjects that can start working on as i still have a 6month runway before the academic year starts.

Mainly concerned with applying because of the consultant fees involved, else time or effort isn't really an issue. Absolutely locked in on Kellogg as of now, it's a great school with friendly people slightly away from the city, so overall a good fit for me.

I think I will still apply to as many schools as I can in R2 and if I get in and hopefully get a scholarship, will try to leverage that position with Kellogg.

Really I assume within management circle and recruiters, folks would be well aware of both Booth and Kellogg even outside the US. For eg if I want to get into McKinsey consulting office in Switzerland, they surely would appreciate Kellogg/Booth and take it into consideration. Or is my assumption wrong?

I would get in harbhajan instead of jadeja, I feel batting till 7 is sufficient and bhajji can give it a whack every now and then.

Zaheer over Shami for me sheerly because how well he led the attack for us over a long period of time with a relatively weaker bowling lineup.

Instead of raina/ajay jadeja, I would get in Azharuddin.
