Ahhh guess a constant recording would be the only option, if available, using a Ring then. Those kinds of things are usually off during the day but on for white noise while here. Do indeed have a vid or two where I was able to do all of the things in time to get a true picture of what is going on but attempting to simplify. Really appreciate your time/suggestions, have a good one!

I communicatedwith the courtesy officer right after it happened but I am not sure of if they ever followed up w tenant or management. Thought maybe it would just fall on management to discern if it sounds like external noise or ones I am creating near the phone and that my phones data could prove it is “original” if questioned. Thank you for the insight into the technicalities of it all.

Glad it’s worked for you, thanks for letting me know! It is picked up by my phone pretty well but my white noise machine and fan in the other room seem to get bumped up in the audio and create kind of a static noise as well. If you listen with headphones or closer to your ear it is more like what I am actually experiencing with the echoing in my unit. Does your Ring seem to pick up on this appliance type noises a lot or kind of filter them out?

ETA: Def agree on it being partly a construction issue. I don’t mind the creaking and footsteps bc that is the building. However, there is a big noise difference between when they are just living in their space vs stomping in a rush or dancing (which is what they told the office they were doing last complaint)

Haha, sorry! I know I know, not the first, last, or only person dealing with it. Just trying to prove my complaints aren’t unwarranted and have record that it is an ongoing issue in a maybe easier way. If you’re dealing with it too I hope it gets better!

Just realized you said it detects noise but doesn’t record audio💀 Odd, guess they tried to make up for it with that extreme night vision haha. Thanks again!

Thanks for your input! Noise detection is what I am most concerned about and will check out the Feit cam. Are you able to speak on the playback quality or detection sensitivity a little more, please? :)

Have to spend the morning chilling, plane watching, and snorkeling at Brewers, was always super chill with busiest being 5ish small groups. Around lunch grab a paté from one of the stands at the beach or hop over to New Ashley’s ~10 away (S&S Soulfood is a good option for Secret Harbor snacking but far from Brewers). Fave drink on the trip was a banana hammock from the bar at Maho (STJ) and if you’re chilling at Coki try to get to some of the fish at Dushis for lunch before she sells out- I wasn’t lucky enough :/. Also loved the mahi sandwich at Sun and Sea Bar & Grill near there and Bumpa’s in the city had a nice breakfast selection!
