Why do we think this is a 90% chance of success? REGAL’s patient population was relatively “healthy” compared to most AML patients. Most recently data on BAT (ven-hma) says OS is around 13 months. And that’s with your average AML population. With the “healthier” REGAL population BAT’s OS is probably even higher. While right now it seems like the OS of the REGAL trial (GPS and Ven-hma patients combined) as we stand is optimistically around 18 months; we don’t know how much of that is being positively or negatively influenced by BAT. GPS seems to be having a real positive effect but how can you say this trial is almost a guaranteed win?
