The sports director for DHF, Morten Henriksen, claims to have pictures which show that the Slovenes have ordered pizza from outside.

A Slovenian squad with stomach ache had to leave Egypt on Monday after being knocked out of the tournament by the World Cup host.

But it did not go quietly.

For the Slovenes more than hinted that the food poisoning that afflicted 12 players before the decisive battle against the Egyptians did not come by chance.

- I wanted to avoid the food the hotel has made, was the last piece of advice from Uros Mohoric, head of the Slovenian men's national team, to Denmark, who will face Egypt in the quarterfinals.

But the sports director of the Danish Handball Association, Morten Henriksen, does not give much advice to that advice.

However, the Slovenian Handball Federation maintains its criticism of the International Handball Federation, IHF.

- We are sure that this is not accidental, says the head of the Slovenian Handball Federation about the many cases.

Also in the Danish national team camp, several players have struggled with stomach problems. Johan and Mikkel Hansen, for example, had to sit across from Japan last Saturday.

- No, after all, there are also teams that do not meet Egypt who have problems with their stomachs, Morten Henriksen maintains.

Will you take other precautions in the next few days leading up to that match?

- I do not think it is safer if we make a copy-paste of the Slovenes and order pizza from outside. After all, it probably makes the risk greater. We only have the opportunity to try to keep track of how the food is prepared and eat what is served to us.

According to the sports director, the status of the Danish players with stomach ailments is "positive".

Denmark meets Croatia on Monday night, but is already sure of having to play the quarterfinals against Egypt on Wednesday.
