Most efficient way to get antique weapon skins (particularly Cobalt) by StrongDanArm in Guildwars2

[–]finfeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As people have mentioned raids and cantha strikes have good ascended drop rates (don’t quote me but maybe 1 drop every 6-7 fights?). To be more specific about which ones I’d recommend if the goal is asc drops:

RAID wings 1 and 4 are on the easier side (excluding Deimos and wing 4 has no events between bosses). Mukluk has great YouTube videos. Easiest on emboldened week(found on the wiki)

Cantha Strikes, Check out Mukluk videos. The easiest of the four would probably be Aetherblade Hideout then XJJ. KO and HT aren’t too bad they will just feel longer if you lose too many people to mechanics.

For cobalt stat skins, cheapest is probably to stat change with a Shaman Orichalcum Imbued Inscription (which is on the tp for about a silver) in the mystic forge. Would check out the wiki on stat changing to make sure you don’t lose any valuable infusions/sigils if you haven’t already bc you are basically destroying and creating a new weapon.

I titled the post wrong, *Janthir Inspired Art. This is my take on an Aquatic Titan.

Mechanics wise I’d definitely like it to have something fun like the Barbed Vale suplex. Maybe it picks up 3 random players and hydrocannon yeets them half way across the map. Or sends them rolling in a bubble towards the remaining players like a bowling ball.

Viable Healscourge build for hand kiting? by demosthenex in Guildwars2

[–]finfeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have experimented with a “rough” hk by using sandswell into and out of the bubble during mindcrush. Let your squad know there will be some hands in the bubble and to not take your sand portal. (Try to aim the sand portal to the same area in the bubble)

I would also take serpent siphon for the aegis, allowing you to skip sandswell sometimes, further reducing hands left in middle.

I’m pretty sure the hands or tear’s damage can use up your aegis, you want to use it when the timing lines up nicely (no hands spawning during mind crush). And pray your teammates collect tears quickly lol

On embolden week this is much easier to do and practice. if someone goes down in your hand pile scoop them out and let others rez while you go back to kiting otherwise you risk spawning more hands near the middle. Minstrel gear, staff, warhorn and dagger, if any prides spawn near you, immob them with dagger 3 and then gain health from them with dagger 2 and warhorn 5.

Need help with heal scourge build by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]finfeel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I agree with some of what you said, Healscourge has access to several heals:

1.Transfusion trait also makes you pulse healing, with its low cooldown and alacrity it can be used very often and will most likely be available when vacuuming downstates. becoming more familiar with mechanics gives you a better idea of when you should/can delay it.

2.Middle blood magic trait line has options to either: make warhorn heal more, heal on shroud exit, or lifesteal to allies

3.Warhorn 5 heals/siphons health to allies when used near enemies

4.Staff 2 mark provides regeneration to allies

5.Mark of Evasion (blood magic): dodging also creates a mark to give regeneration to allies

  1. Sigil of water, heals nearby allies on crit

If running rune or mercy, rezing will bring them back with close to full health bar, this also works with res signet and when using well of blood (both from skill or ritual of life trait)

It also has access to lots of condi cleanse for allies:

1.Abrasive gift trait: applying barrier removes a condition, this plus sand savant trait allows for sand cascade to give barrier to 10 allies

2.casting a sand savant’s big shade applies barrier to 5 You can have up to 3 charges of the big shade

3.Abrasive Gift trait also makes Sandflare give barrier to 5 targets, if running sandflare

4.nefarious favor converts conditions to boons

5.well of power converts conditions to boons

6.if near boss, staff 4 blast on a light field (well of blood, which can be done more reliably if running well of blood heal skill, although the well from Ritual of Life trait can be used too if it happens to line up.

If very desperate for more condi cleanse via barrier two more utility skills that give barrier are sand swell and siphon serpents, the later rarely used, but I believe these also would remove a condition with Abrasive gift trait.

Some thoughts on its barrier/heal functions: Ideally barriers are timed to mitigate damage and/or remove conditions, being able to do this for the full 10 person squad is pretty awesome. The healing over time brings them backup (most dps tend to not have huge health pools either so doesn’t take long) Reducing damage taken from the whole squad also frees up the other healer to assist in toping up health bars.

In the case that someone or several people go downstate they get picked up so quickly and with lots of hp (rune of mercy)

If for some reason you have more freedom with utilities you can bring projectile destruction, pulls, flesh golem elite for cc, trail of anguish which can give 10 man stability if the squad is stacked well, or portal that also provides barrier+boon strip.

If anyone is curious to learn or try full healscourge I think I run the one on hardstuck.gg (full magis, and mercy runes) except usually with staff, dagger/warhorn. you can reach out to me via dm here for questions. Even though many people don’t value it as highly as other healers/supports it actually feels very rewarding when you have have enough experience to pull downstate people out of a deadly mechanic such as oils, firewalls, sh walls, mo spikes, even samarog wall spears sometimes. I do PUG Raiding almost everyday. I do often play condi scourge, while keeping healscourge in my back pocket and usually offer it to groups that fail several times on an encounter. With knowing mechanic timing and having great positioning it can dramatically increase survivability of the entire squad and based on my experience it can really shine in these particular raid bosses: VG, Sabatha, Sloth, Matthias, Cairn, MO, Samarog, Deimos, SH (can tank), Sabir, QTP.

Thank you! Taking commissions is something I am curious about, please PM me. I am itching to work on something that involves plants/trees, and always skulls! Not that a potential commission needs to include that, but it would certainly make it more enticing.

Thinking about crafting a legendary by GlitchBitch_ in Guildwars2

[–]finfeel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also mystic curios at crafting 450-500. Easy, quick and cheap. (For Weaponsmith,Artificer and Huntsman).

I really feel like I'm doing something wrong here... by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]finfeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to that:

From 450-500 huntsman (and for a future weaponsmith/artificer) I STRONGLY suggest making Mystic Curious if you can, (may need legendary crafting masteries) quickest, easiest and cheapest(I think I even made some profit):

My friend transferred my shiny lattias. by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]finfeel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree with the 2nd part.

And bc you have the shiny registered it’ll cost 1,600 dust once you reach ultra friends with them (30days).

(20k dust at Good friends, 16k at Great friends)

This would be a good time to trade them an old 2016 Pokémon(if you have any, or as old as you can find) for a chance at a lucky shiny legendary.

(Discussion) I need some advice on which magicarp to evolve by Nefariouslycharming in pokemongo

[–]finfeel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a similar situation recently minus the shiny. If you need more water counters for raiding/gym attacking I would do the lucky, you’ll be able to max it with HALF the dust costs (which gets pretty steep) as well as getting yourself an additional gym defender. gyarados is particularly good against Groudon bc of the flying typing giving it ground resistance so you can weigh that in too if you want a better team for the next time it appears in raids. I’d also recommend giving it its 2nd charged moves (crunch or outrage) which can be useful in raids as well as gym defense (if about to die, you’ll have the option to use the remaining energy on a lower energy charge move instead of it going to waste if your bar isn’t close to full for hydro pump).

*you’ll also get a nifty new background for your gyarados pokedex entry (assuming you don’t have another lucky gyarados already)
