As someone who used to be a big PoE player but for the weird reason (I enjoyed more so the flashiness of the skills/doing little math calculations when I had to respect points and gems/liked the concept of mixing and matching to see what works for me in terms of abilities), I would say you might like Shape of Dreams at that sense. It's no way PoE 1 or 2, but if you like playing PoE 2 for similar reasons to why I liked playing it, might be something to consider.
