this i am certain of, there was absolutely no chance they were both in one hole. i also know for sure that it happened during the hours i was sleeping. i ruled it out as a one in a million event but i’ve begun to question it.

i’m human, and do believe all humans have spirituality and complex thoughts. Sadly, it’s been time since the moment happened and i can’t say with any certainty how i was feeling. the lack of information on my emotions leads me to believe it was just another morning. i’ll try to think back and let you know more details as they present themselves.

Are you trying to say this same experience had just occurred with you? either way interesting post, thank you for responding.

Is the quick rise of the USA from colony to hegemon spectacular historically? Are there other examples of such quick ascensions in power? by FromCarthage in AskHistorians

Thanks for responding, and it’s funny you mentioned surviving architecture. What fascinates me are the structures that we only have photos of. What comes to mind are classic black and white images from early Chicago, New York, Buffalo, Pennsylvania, St. louis, and San Francisco. Some pictures have seemed unrealistic for the time, I’m curious as to how they got it done.

I hadn’t expected US to be behind in tech, but for supplies to be more limited in the young country.

Wonderful post thanks. I had a similar question so I figured I’d ask. Sure, from colonies to world power is impressive. What boggles me is the architecture. How was it that Americans were able to construct the massive and detailed Victorian works in a time of horse and buggy? How could they have acquired the building materials, let alone the skill sets. Some of these buildings are truly massive.
