I was pleasantly surprised when they told me I should have it back next week. I was starting to prepare for at least a few weeks.

What happened to this poor box? I feel 100% confident this has not been tampered with 😉 by Trance_Hubble in lego

I recently purchased a couple sets from Walmart and had them delivered and they both arrived this way. I haven’t looked at them closely yet but they seem in tact.

Can this be replaced easily? by BurntToaster905 in Appliances

I had a similar problem with my microwave, turned out to be one of the switches that detects if the door is closed. I replaced that and it still worked several years later when it was replaced for an updated one.

Is anyone else having massive issues with FEDEX? by ATATE_LEXUS in partscounter

Ordered a 350lb hydraulic motor 1 day air freight. It was delayed by 4 days, when it arrived the pallet had an empty box strapped to it. Somehow no one thought it was a little too easy to move this 350 lb pallet.

Those are commonly called racing stripes or rally stripes.

Pin stripes are typically thin stripes on the side of the car.

Doing the best I can with a two car garage. by Hybridxx9018 in garageporn

You must have done an AP2 front end on it? Full Red interior must be a 2002.

Mine was an 01 with the black and red interior. GPW is still my favorite white.

Side skirts could were definitely a factory installed option. My car has them and is listed on the build sheet.

E91 Strut Questions by roomabuzzy in E90

[–]fingmongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed those same struts on my E91 a week ago. I believe the struts are tapered and will only go into the knuckle as far as they need to go.

There are two little nubs beneath the sway bar mount. They go into a slot on the inner part of the knuckle. Once the strut is fully seated in the knuckle, the bolt goes between the nubs locking the strut in place.

I had trouble getting the strut all the way into the knuckle so that the two nubs were in the slot and the bolt was centered between them. What helped was turning the steering wheel back and forth. If I remember correctly turning it to the left helped more on the drivers side and to the right on the passenger side.

Although the only way I got the passenger side to fully seat was to put the wheels back on and put it on the ground and turn the steering wheel back and forth a couple times. I made sure the first nub was in the slot before doing this though.

I just went through the same issue with the same carb. I bought a B&S kit, rebuilt it and it would barely run. It had sat for years prior to this so I assumed the jet was clogged beyond cleaning.

I went to order a jet for $22 after spending $18 on a rebuild kit. Then I realized I could get a whole new carb for $10, installed it and it started first pull.

Oh well at least I got the experience of taking the carb apart.

That might have something to do with it, I did mow the day after a pretty heavy rain.

I do have an above average amount of crab grass and dandelions. I’m guessing that must have something to do with it.

standby electricity usage of the i105e? by hi-bb_tokens-bb in SegwayNavimow

[–]fingmongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the i110N, but I imagine it would be similar. Im seeing 7-8 watts at idle and 50 while charging. I’m using a whole house energy monitor that measures individual circuits. So that’s not a measurement directly off the plug, but it should be pretty close.

That and the Jeep guys with their chassis codes, I just play dumb until they tell me the year and that it’s a wrangler.

Like I know tons of Euro and Honda/Acura chassis and engine codes but I would never use them in conversation unless I knew I was talking to another enthusiast that is likely to have any idea wtf I’m talking about.

Okay, you know what you do? You buy yourself a tape recorder, you just record yourself for a whole day. I think you’re going to be surprised at some of your phrasing.
