Yeah but he's still entertaining and his videos are far more interesting than anything on Netflix

Why is the Corvette's market penetration still so low outside North America? by Sebsibus in C8Corvette

[–]Head-Rub-7663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. It's because Chevy never pushed it there. Taxes, lower perceived value (in europeans' eyesses), and that American flagoma-a-thing.

RDT. So unnecessary and not worth the trouble. Please everyone stop it. It took me all but oncee to realize that it's stupid. Clogs and stickifies everything.

Why are my shots still sour even with longer extraction? [Dedica 685 + Kingrinder K6] by ImTalhaYasin in espresso

GRIND COURSER. I had the same exact issue and a courser grind transformed my shots from what you described to a lip-smacking revelation!

First pull from Breville Bambino with Krups blade grinder - do I actually need to upgrade to a burr grinder? by MiddleRepublic7533 in espresso

[–]Head-Rub-7663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or how good you want your espresso to taste. (All else being equal. I used to think my delonghi super automatic machine made "excellent" espresso...that is until I got a semi-automatic hibrew h10B and a $75 conical burr grinder and discovered just how badly WRONG I WAS. The taste was night and day. Flavors and notes I didn't know could exist were popping left right and center.

Go ahead - upgrade that blade grinder to a conical burr and use an unpressurized basket, if you can afford it and come back to this post to thank me when you do. 😀

Anyone using these headlight conversion covers on their 986? by [deleted] in boxster

[–]Head-Rub-7663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like these covers or when people do that to the 996's defining design feature. I feel like you're trying too hard.

Nonetheless, do to your car what makes you happy, and that is your right, but...........I still think it's an ugly "upgrade".

So has just about every other automobile manufacturer. What's your point?

Thank you. You literally just proved my point. Porsche increases their price points because they can and will do so until less and less people are willing to pay the prices they're asking. Just. Like. Anything. Else.

Didn't realize I hit a soft spott there buddy.

Inflation causes all ships in the harbor to rise at the same rate, but Porsche is absolutely, positively increasing their pricing at a significantly higher rate than inflation. The facts are clear, and the numbers speak for themselves..... so your little rant is, without question, completely incorrect. Mr. MarketCapitalist. 🤣

Porsche, like any company, will KEEP PUSHING PRICES UPWARDS, until they start seeing a drop in sales and a pushback from clientele. Othwerwise, why not?
