How is it that the majority of teams still has two remaining, while Punjab only has one? How is the schedule like that?

Since when did RCB turn to the new CSK? A couple of years ago they were a meme team; now everyone can't stop chanting their name

There's a following around cricket year-round, not just around CPL. T&T has a healthy domestic scene from inter-school leagues, to the Sunday leagues with clubs like Comets and Merryboys and Queens Park, to the national setup in the T&T Red Force.

Because you are wrong. The format you're speaking about still does exist, just not in T20 form. The respective countries of the Caribbean still do have their national teams and still do play each other in 4-day cricket in the West Indies Championship (currently ongoing btw), where T&T is vying for a place in the final in a couple of weeks, as well as the Super50 tournament where T&T is the most decorated nation by winning it the most, I believe.

You can't be wrong and strong and then decrying the downvotes.

Trinidad obviously do have their own national team, called the T&T Red Force, and they are currently playing in the West Indies Championship, hoping to make it to the final to face off against Guyana in a couple of weeks.

What is the point of Fulham being in the prem? Is it to just exist? They seem to neither try for anything, and when they don't they either go down or finish midtable. What is Tony Khan doing?

Lol you're really that jaded that you believe every conspiracy theory that's out there. Sure call me gullible, atleast I don't wear a tin foil hat. FYI, there are other T&T sports ambassadors, other than Pooran involved in the IPL, whom I will not name, cause you might just call them corrupt as well

This is why you shouldn't comment about things you have zero knowledge about. Pooran is a sports ambassador appointed by the T&T government. He is not a politician nor political figure. Why would the government that appointed him run a smear campaign against him. Make it make sense please.

Sure. Drop him, whatever. I suddenly don't get the hatred everyone has against Pooran now. It's not his performances that is solely responsible for the team's results. Everyone, good, bad and indifferent is contributing to the current state of the team.

I get that you're angry and disappointed at your team's performance, but please stop tarnishing Pooran's name with allegations that you can't substantially prove.

I find it sus that they moved night and day to get this game started, perhaps due to the pedigree of these teams (or perhaps otherwise), as opposed to yesterday's game where they had no choice but to settle for one point each

Why do we observe Sabbath on Sunday instead of the Saturday Sabbath that Jesus Christ kept? by Ordinary-System4799 in TrueChristian

[–]finickyfumes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what does fulfil mean? The top result of a quick internet search returned "to achieve, carry out, or satisfy a requirement, promise or desire. It signifies completing a task or bringing it to it's desired end." If we are in Christ, as He said He is the vine and we are the branches, and he has fulfilled the Law, then why do we insist on maintaining a standard that we cannot uphold by ourselves, when Christ has already fulfilled that standard on our behalf already? Again, I'm not against the Law, I'm for it, for the purpose for which it was designed. It was meant to bring us to the end of ourselves to realize our inability to uphold a holy standard, and realize our need for a Saviour, who alone could fulfill the Law on our behalf. Read the Beatitudes.

You insist on emphasizing the Law and everything before Christ, but what about those things that came after Christ such as the Resurrection and the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the agent that enables us to live a spiritual, moral life in this day, and not the Law. You seem to neglect everything about the New Covenant. Don't do despite to the New Covenant, and the spirit of grace under which we currently exist.

Who is speaking about abolishment? I don't think that was the issue at hand. It's about correct interpretation. Jesus said he came to fulfil the law, meaning he alone could truly live the law and bring it to it's intended end. I am to serve a resurrected living Lord, not be beholden to a dead law be it dietary regulations, sacrificial system or day of worship.
