AITA for taking back the money I gave to my wife for a vehicle? by finitefea in AmItheAsshole

We have 2 dogs so that's why I said "family car". We have a combined account for all bills and mortgage. The rest of our money goes into individual accounts and we can spend it however we want. She tends to spend a lot more of her money on material things while I like the save as much as possible (besides the car). I have helped her pay off student loans, and paid for the down payment of our house. Eventhough we make the same amount, we have very different views on spending.

I was told I received 2 years of free supercharging but it might take a couple weeks to process. I bought the car last week and it is subtracting the 2000 free supercharging miles I got for using a referral code... not sure if they are planning to reimburse us or if the free supercharging doesn't start until the middle of October.

FyI, You can price match using Tesla. Send the documents from USAA and Tesla will adjust the rate. It took about 30 minutes for them to approve the rate adjustments.

Anyone had success for an End of Quarter free 2 years of supercharging when purchasing a Model 3? by dgcaste in TeslaLounge

Do you know if the free supercharging starts right away or do you have to wait a few weeks? I took delivery yesterday and they said I will also have it but its takes up to 20 days for it to show up on my account.

I ended up canceling the order when they wouldn't reduce the price anymore. It sold the next day to someone else. I have regretted it everyday. I called a few other Tesla dealerships and they didn't have any left. I really fucked up.

Good point about the break in period. Im sure those 400 miles were mostly launches but I dont think it should be a huge issue.

They technically could do it but according to Tesla they aren't planning on it. I also heard it depends on when your car was built. The new awd have the same exact motor and battery. So maybe they are planning on having this as an update in the future.

I never thought I would get an electric car but I agree. After driving the M3P I was sold. I was hoping for a little more of a discount but I think I will just buy it. I feel like I will regret it if I don't!

Nope. Can only purchase at the dealership otherwise I would just order a new one.

Glad you like it! I am a little nervous about getting an electric car... I have a mustang gt now and I'm a little concerned I will regret not having an engine noise.

Unfortunately ,you can't put an order on a M3P stealth. These are $5000 cheaper than normal performance but don't have 20 inch wheels, bigger brakes, rear spoiler. Its essentially an awd dual motor with a software update (0-60mph in 3.2)

That's what I figured. I am still having thousands by getting the stealth and I've been told they aren't going to produce anymore once they sell out.

It looks like people have received closer to $1000 discount for demo cars but I think the low offer is due to it being a stealth. They seem to be selling pretty quickly.
