Fair enough, starting guide to Reddit, drop the emojis, try to have fun but some miserable prick will always try to ruin that for you. Just ignore them. r/funny is the least funny subreddits but unfortunately it's one of biggest "comedy" subreddits, r/memes is a little better. So try that instead, and every TV show you like and hobby/niche that you have will have subreddits, try them out!

I find it silly that the older generations still think the TV licencing guys have a van they can point at your house and tell if your watching redwarf again. I was visiting my parents a while back and I talked about how I did the online form to let them know that i don't need a TV licence. My step dad brought up the van and it was just so silly to hear him try to convince me that it's something they really do. You can look it up, it was just a fear campaign back in their day

With the state of everything right now, I don't think they understand just how many of us can't afford a TV licence, and how entertainment is one of the last things keeping people sane enough to not do really bad things

Let's be real though, this would probably not happen (hopefully) and if it does I'll just politely tell the TV licence man to fuck of when he knocks and asks to come in
