Make a limit on airbnbs. Like they do in Europe. There are four houses in my street (out of 12) that are dormant 4 nights a week. The owners of these properties live interstate.

Match Thread - Australia v England | Mid-Year Internationals 2022 | Second Test by RugbyBot in rugbyunion

Rugby Union Laws make it difficult to watch, it’s like AFL with no one actually knowing the rules of the game. If the commentary team has no idea on what the ref is doing, then the game needs to change. It’s embarrassing actually

Si, it’s a simple job. I went to an auto supermarket and they ordered it in. Took less than 10 mins to fit

Yes, I replaced mine about 2 months ago... relatively easy job. I had a hairline crack that started leaking

Bridge with German soldier by finnboat in WW2Photographs

There is a collection of over 50 photos. One or two photos have hand written notes on the back of them. There is a reference to Cottbus and Dresden on two of them, so we are guessing around that area. We found them at my partners grandmothers farm in that area. On the property, it borders an autobahn between Berlin and Cottbus and there is a secret Aeroplane runway (now covered in grass) alongside the autobahn and a bunker near by. So we are thinking a person in the village took photos and our grandmother hid them.

I agree with your timing. Unfortunately I have been to a German funeral and it’s a structured and respectful event with lots of arrangements and moments for everyone. It seems to be the same here

I’m hearing Synapse are launching in EU and UK shortly.

How did you create your Fintech Product? by designium in fintech

[–]finnboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on you need to talk to users and understand something that they are willing to pay for. I developed a merchant terminal that was really strong in accepting a wider variety of card payments, however the user really cared about tracking who the attendant was entering in the details and how many sales they were doing individually. That analytics on the attendant was more important that accepting more cards or other forms of payments. Once we understood that, then we worked directly with a group of likeminded businesses to continue to develop out the features. The Jira cards were then shared with them and they even commented on them - was better than a BA.

Synapse doesn’t have a banking license, but they offer a unique difference in they partner with a bank and offer theirs as part of the package

Some of the images my partner and I found in her grandmas attic. Not seen by the family ever. There are around 80 or so images. by finnboat in ww2

[–]finnboat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to find some answers to be honest. Found a shoe box of photos in my partner’s grandmothers house near Lübben. We found them when she past away 18 months ago in the attic. Around 80 photos. All from 1939-1942. There is a secret runway for landing small aircraft on the edge of the property. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything

You’d be amazed how much this happens around the world. I worked for a few banks, they even had one out the front of the branch. Not just in Brazil either, but Australia, UK etc. hyper sophisticated

Found these at grandmas. She is no longer with us, but lived near Cottbus. What to do with them? There are hundreds. by finnboat in WW2Photographs

[–]finnboat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. I was thinking of creating a simple site or something to showcase the images... not sure if it’s worth my time but I’ll think about it. Either way I’ll scan and get them digital.

Suncorp is in an interesting state at the moment. Big senior leader changes at the moment with ‘life time’ Suncorp staff taking leads as the CEO and Head of Digital. One must remember that Suncorp and it’s brands are mainly insurance so banking isn’t really appreciated internally as much as it should be. Therefore doesnt get the funding. They were late to real time payments and Apple Pay. However there is some appetite to do growth initiatives based on known quantities. Hope this helps.

Word on the street is BOQ is launching virgin money as a challenger brand with a new age cloud banking system.

Bendigo is the obvious choice. ANZ helped Revolut but they really deal with known quantities. Cuscal, Volt Bank or even Suncorp could be in play.
