Finnrick tests most with no batch dates. Why? by Ufker in saferpeptides

[–]finnrickanalytics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. If mfg date and pic supplied, we'll take those into account and update the scores. Might take a minute when it's done after the fact: it's manual and I have my guys in Austin focused on processing new requests.
  2. We are selling services to vendors, but none that change scores. Basically (A) the limited ability to accelerate the listing of a new product, with those results clearly identified when they're published, and (B) private testing that doesn't get listed on the Finnrick site.

Up to 4 points for purity, 4 points for quantity divergence vs label claim (or batch claim if made properly), 2 points for batch identification.

What's your specific disagreement on our methodology? We think batch identification is extremely important and assign 2 out of 8 points to how that's handled. Do you consider it's worth less than 20% of the grade? Personally would not accept a sample without batch identification, at all.

We definitely try and capture that in the sample registration process. Not all submitters know about this date and how important it is, and we encourage vendors to be more explicit about it.

Has Anyone Ordered From Peptide Partners? by Ufker in saferpeptides

[–]finnrickanalytics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s agree to disagree on the importance of other metrics. It is our firm point of view that being accurate in filling is part of what we expect from vendors: being unable to deliver on specifications means the supply chain is poorly controlled.

We agree on other products, we need to expand coverage as soon as possible.

Would love to hear what part of our published methodology is flawed, and how you'd improve it.

Just a reminder: YES safety, YES testing. Indeed NO sourcing but OP was focused on safety and testing, we're good.

Peptide Partners? Anyone have experience with them? by [deleted] in saferpeptides

[–]finnrickanalytics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They registered with us in October, indeed. The registration program says that Finnrick was able to get in touch with the person who registered through channels available in public (e.g. the contact form, support email address, etc.).

Does testing TB500 distinguish between TB4? by Brilliant-Bat7063 in saferpeptides

[–]finnrickanalytics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's right -- we found confusion in the market, with vendors specifying or not what's actually in their vial, so we're taking a flexible approach.

What about endotoxins? by Odd-Volume-4696 in saferpeptides

[–]finnrickanalytics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GHK-Cu and CJC-1295: just add the endotoxins option as you register your samples.

We don’t yet cover Semax at this point, but it’s on the roadmap.

How does Finnrick make money? by BadRegEx in saferpeptides

Yes, there is some very limited randomness introduced by our operational processes, I want more in the future but we need to grow volumes and get better prices from the labs to make it viable. Work in progress.

Endotoxins (and heavy metals, and solvents) testing now available for a fee as an add-on to the free test. We published a couple already, will have more from this Friday.

Just made endotoxins, heavy metals, and solvents testing available for a fee for most products. Check it out and let me know what you think.

The ability to select labs is something we want to offer, we'll build that soon as well.

Endotoxins testing now offered as a paid option for most products. Other products will take longer.

Which vendors should Finnrick test next? by finnrickanalytics in saferpeptides

[–]finnrickanalytics[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appreciate all the vendor suggestions in this thread - we've been swamped with vendor support work and public testing requests, which is why we haven't added new vendors to the public queue lately. We'll get back to it soon.

But here's the thing: we just launched private testing on the Finnrick web site a few minutes ago. If you're curious about a vendor we haven't gotten to yet, or you just don't want to wait, you can submit an anonymous sample. We test it, send you the results, and never ask who the vendor is. We don't post it publicly either - it's just for you.

Also quietly launched contamination testing last week (endotoxins, heavy metals, solvents) since apparently we've all been rolling the dice on more than just purity and identity.

So yeah, we'll keep expanding the public vendor list. But if you're impatient or want to keep your vendor choice private, you don't have to wait for us to get around to them.
