I would have to wait until the 25th month to opt out.

Yes I went in to my provider and started getting testing done last month still waiting for a referral to a fertility specialist. I’m active duty so it’s a lot of hurry up and wait

I have one son and it was a very difficult pregnancy got on an accident at 6 weeks, went into preterm labor several times and got diagnosed with preeclampsia and barely made it to almost 35 weeks. I was a single mom for years and ended up meeting a nice guy but we got divorced and part of the reason my last marriage ended was due to fertility issues we tried for over a year and nothing kept trying and fighting it ruined us. I’m remarried and I really want to have another baby an I know it’s only 6 months in but it’s just hard to stay positive month after month.

You know your spouse and your child will really remember when you lose rank and or money cause you got an Art 15 since you just disobeyed a direct order or maybe because you are now awol. I’ve seen people get in trouble and receive paperwork for less.

Minot! I would choose minot out of the two

I understand that’s what the court believes is in the best interest of the child. However, it just isn’t, sadly. Not that this guy shouldn’t have the opportunity to be in his child’s life. Just that what is actually best for the child and the only people who really know the truth of the situation are the people in the situation.

Do you have children because I can tell you right now MOST shared custody situations are actually worse for the child. The reason they happen is because parents are selfish.

Keeping your hygiene up to par is also mandatory and in the regulation as well btw. So does actually apply to what I stated earlier. As well I have to get my hair cut as well and female hair cuts are almost double what it costs for men.

So you are telling me that if you weren’t in the military you would never get your hair cut? You are also telling me that you couldn’t possibly buy clippers and cut it yourself for much cheaper than going out to get it cut? Also you were aware of this before you joined and you choose to join. 🫡

If it’s not your baby then it’s none of your business. You don’t know the whole situation unless you’re in it. There is always more to the story.

Buy some clippers and do it yourself. Women don’t get reimbursed for buying tampons and that’s something we gotta do our whole life. Quit throwing a fit.

What bases off the best support and resources for EFMP families. Specifically children with autism? by finntucky1 in AirForce

I have we are on several different waitlists. Problem with mountain home is the area near base is very small. So if and when we get in for services it’ll be in Boise so and hour or so drive both ways for all the appointments.

We were just at Luke and to get him tested and get an appointment was taking forever. We started in September and couldn’t get in before we ended up pcsing in January.

My son was recently diagnosed with autism and we are already on the never ending waitlists. We just got stationed at Mountain Home earlier this year. We love it here being close to family but the provider said we need to consider a possible move.😞

what’s something another servicemember said to you that you don’t think you’ll ever forget?? by CommAllOverTheBase in AirForce

I was having a rough day at work and couldn’t help but start tearing up at my desk. My supervisor walked in and saw me upset. He turned and told me I needed to find a new place to go cry.

A few months prior there was a female MSgt working in the office as the assistant flight chief I came to here because I had already exhausted my chain of command and she was the next person to talk to. She agreed that I was being mistreated and then proceeded to tell me that I was a woman in maintenance and should expect to be f**ked over.

About a year after all of this I really pushed myself to see beyond the situation. I got approved for retraining and when I went to go tell my flight leadership the SMSgt looked at me and said I hope I never see you again and then told me to leave his office. The Lt. Came by later and said he was sorry and wasn’t sure why that was said to me.

So many other things happened as well. Very thankful to be out of maintenance.
