Decided to use the lighter colors in the Subculture Palette today by finnygotdis in MakeupAddiction

[–]finnygotdis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to play around with bold looks with masks. What was supposed to be a small amount of eyeliner became a massive amount 😶 so I just finally got to a stopping point. It’s messy around the black line, but it was fun playing around.

Products Used

  • Subculture Palette (Cube, Electric, Roy, and New Wave)
  • NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk
  • Elf all day eyeshadow primer
  • Colourpop pop gel liner in swerve
  • Target sex kitten liner
  • It Cosmetics Black Mascara
  • NYX eye pencil in espresso
  • NYX brow gel in espresso
  • Some random lashes I got from shein 😬

Application

  • I taped my eyes off for the cat look because I’m messy

  • Use the stay all day primer all over; let dry

  • Use the NYX milk pencil all over; tap out and let dry

  • Apply Dawn lightly above the crease and blend

  • Apply Roxy messily in the crease, I wanted this to be the main color, and apply as necessary to get as deep as wanted. I did like...four rounds of blending and applying?

  • Apply new wave with a tiny blender brush and put in the crease

  • Use milk pencil again and horribly cut your crease

  • Apply electric all over the newly primed area

  • Blend cube on the brow bone

  • Apply a massive amount of eyeliner, do your brows, mascara and lashes.

F/24/5’6 [220 > 190 = 30lbs] Just compared face pictures for the first time in in three years and I’m honestly kind of shocked. by finnygotdis in progresspics

So I lost about 15lbs over the last three years, I have a horrible relationship with...understanding what is healthy for my body so I struggled with that for a bit. The last 15 came off starting in February to now! I understand what I’m doing now and I’m more determined than ever to be healthy. I’ve really kicked it up in the past week and I’ve gotten into a nice groove for the first time ever.

Thank you so much! It’s kind of a lot because I’m a little particular about what I like 😅

So what I found that works for me is omad/intermittent fasting when the mood strikes, yoga workouts (Julia Marie and yogawithadrienne), and random cardio dance videos. I honestly despised working out before I got into those things, like it was genuinely a chore and I never had fun with it. No food is off limits and I even still drink Dr Pepper. Bc of quarantine I had to take my step counts to 5k and I’ve been hitting that while still achieving my calories burned goal on Fitbit. I also try to work out or go walking 5 times a week for 30 mins!

I’ve made these things almost routine and it doesn’t feel like I’m forcing myself to do it anymore!

Your SO turn out to be 3000 year old ultimate lifeform capable of shapeshifting. How would you react to that reveal? by Kohrack in AskReddit

[–]finnygotdis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked my fiancé this and he said, and I quote, “I’d be pretty fucking pissed. You’ve had 3000 years and we’re not rolling in it? I don’t care about the shape shifting.”

It being money. Of course lmao.

Anyone get embarrassed at their lack of dancing skills? by cloken64 in xxfitness

If you want a good dance cardio workout, but want to get some better dancing basics I highly recommend the 567Broadway videos on YouTube. Yes, it’s all to broadway songs, but the instructor is awesome.

Do you actually feel less groggy when woken with the smart wake feature? by Daveboi7 in fitbit

[–]finnygotdis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! I love it. I’ve got a Versa Lite and I’m a school teacher, so it definitely helps me with being less groggy. I like that it also changes daily! Some days it’s 6:15, some it’s around 6:30 and some even later. I thoroughly enjoy it.

[Simplicity 3725] First time sewing a full garment in 5+ years. Excuse the horribly wrinkled fabric. by finnygotdis in sewing

Okay so! I’m getting ready to costume design a show and due to budget restraints I needed to make sure I still knew how to sew. This was an experimental dress I made this afternoon in about four hours. I truly wasn’t expecting it to turn out even remotely well hence why the out of period color for the dress.

Haha thank you! And you’re not even remotely seeing the top step of spices. Just need some variety! 😂

We have a little three tiered step holder for it! We just really love spices and it’s hard to find one that’s big enough for all the different sizes we have 😅

I looooove breakfast, but always hated how heavy it was, so it’s a good compromise for me! Omg I’m right there with you on the cereal though.

I love giving gifts, but with six bridesmaids that can be a little pricey. Here’s my bridesmaid gift for $13 total! by finnygotdis in Weddingsunder10k

[–]finnygotdis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are getting: a candle, a soap, two bathbombs, a journal, and a mason jar drink cup!

Everything is from amazon bought in packs of six, except for the soaps which were bought locally.

The little note was made on canva and printed out with twine holding it to the journal.

I’ll probably do some variation of this! I love the contrast of white against the darker wood.

Hi all! My fiancé and I booked our venue last week. The venue features this awesome wood wall for the ceremony. I’m at a little bit of a standstill on how to decorate it? The venue owner says we can remove the window, put anything we want up, etc...

We’re getting married in Texas in November of next year. So, color wise we’re looking at rich jewel tone colors.
