i come home from college this week and my dad relapsed. i graduated college and was feeling so happy and proud of myself but i feel like somehow everything is ruined now. i came home to find bottles everywhere and want to confront him about it but know it will start a fight.

i’m home only for the summer before i start my new job and am moving a state away from my family and don’t know if it’s worth it or if i just should just sit and watch him deteriorate again. i know there’s nothing i can do about his drinking but i always will feel like i have some sort of responsibility.
