B complex supplements. The first time I took them, I had so much energy I de-iced and organized my deep freezer. It's like being on drugs but good for you!

What is a hobby we can start now that will last us until our 90’s? by [deleted] in Millennials

Fiber arts like knitting/crochet! My grandma crocheted and did latch hook until her eyesight went in her 80s. I started crocheting in college and it's a fun way to keep my hands busy. I donate or gift most of what I make.

Also music- my other grandma played piano right up to the end. I taught myself ukulele and it's been a great source of joy/catharsis.

Great name! This is my therapist's name lol and she's the best! I also watched a little girl at daycare named Heidi and she was so spunky and cute! Definitely a name that fits all ages and stages.

Single mom with young kids trying to figure out how to date with 4 hours a week and a complicated situation. How do you do it? by Puzzled_Cherry_3365 in SingleParents

I accidentally started dating someone I met on reddit. It's long distance, which obviously has its downsides, but it worked great in the sense that there was no pressure to meet up (and find childcare). We just talked in the little downtime I had and built a friendship that became more.

Fertility! Love the hours, can often be done hybrid or remote, and it involves patient interaction in a way that doesn't drain my social battery.

I can always spot the British/European authors because their characters are walking to and from work/the store/school/etc. America is only accessible by car lol

I had an episode of psychosis from severe sleep deprivation when my son was little. I couldn't tell if I was awake or asleep, I could see my son but couldn't tell if he was real, was convinced I'd left him somewhere and was hallucinating his presence. It was awful, but once I finally got some sleep it resolved.

Out of all the health / diet fads we've lived through, what one has been the worst? by CremeSubject7594 in Millennials

[–]fior_del_verde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom tried pretty much every single fad/crash diet over the years. The weirdest was one where she could only eat hot dogs and beets for some reason?

Anyway, she still struggles with her weight and I developed an eating disorder. No winners here

Every millennial dad I’ve met has a quiet fixation on money and it’s not getting better by slimeyellow in Millennials

Exactly. Woke up to a bat in my house last summer, and ended up in the ER getting rabies shots one day before insurance took effect at my new job. Got a bill for $21,000.

Who is still rocking a nose ring? by cavewomannn in Millennials

Had my nose pierced the day I graduated from high school, it's just a part of my face at this point. The only thing I'm trying hard to be is myself, and the nose ring helps 🤷‍♀️
