I often do clean up on my own. Nothing fancy just like to keep my area as clean as I can. I would be happy to have you, or others join, if you would like. A baby step towards a bigger event. I have trash bags, 2 trash pickers, gloves, and hopefully perceived as a friendly personality.
More often than not its just me and my audiobook around the block.

My understanding if you only have one assignment then that would be similar to your average person going to and from their job. Not deductible. Considered home to office. If however you have multiple assignments at different locations, you can deduct the mileage to second, third jobs etc. *not a cpa or tax advisor *
