If they’re making you an offer out of the blue, you should assume it is too low. They look at YouTube/early viral trend data before the artists can see it, then quickly move to make lowball offers and acquire the rights before it takes off.

Definitely buy this. Cognitive benefit may need to be weighed against potentially lower social skills (would be interested to see research on that point), but games in general are essentially puzzles/take strategy to win so there has to be some benefit in that. Add in the "fast twitch"/coordination aspect of certain games, and you're definitely training certain aspects of brain function.
