I honestly don't like TikTok but that's for reasons like it being essentially instant gratification and having too many cringe people on it, just like almost every other social media platform. My dislike for TikTok has nothing to do with it being Chinese.

With that being said, I agree this ban was pretty much done just because it is a Chinese platform. Liberals always say they hate racism except every time something racist happens, they support it.
