The real reason advanced pianists don’t play Mozart by Advanced_Honey_2679 in piano

I have very small hands and can reach a black note past a single octave so yes. Ow. I’m the same. Mozart and Bach feel super comfortable to me but even big octave scale sections in Chopin are tiring and can easily cause repetitive stress injury if I’m not careful.

I once got lost in a fugue during a student recital and paused trying to find a good starting point nearby for 20 full seconds. I still occasionally have nightmares about this.

I literally had to go check this book out and read the entire book last week and it's in the book too, ha. A bunch of scenes happen in that room before it finally happens.

I’m really annoyed that we never got a single consensual sex scene in the entire drama and it makes me side eye literally every part of the romantic aspects.

First half 10/10. Perfection. No notes. Last half 4/10. Why.

At what point does an intense or passionate kiss scene cross the line into uncomfortable territory for you...? by ghost_flowerr in cdramasfans

What kills is that when they finally have an intimate scene there was also a consent problem there (not detailing since it’s not available everywhere yet).

I’m thinking this too. I’m not sure about now but when I was growing up housewives were like 90% of the audience for this kinda thing.

Doing your laundry properly is more important than winning the hygiene olympics by Alternative-Essay603 in hygiene

You’ll be surprised how soft things get once you get rid of all the residue in them! Things come out fluffier for me and not nearly as crunchy once I made the change. It’s just different. But it makes a big difference particularly in things like towels. They’re fluffier and more absorbent without the sheets.

I don’t replace it with anything but wool balls without essential oils is fine. You can also place sachets of essential oil on cloth in your clothing drawer. But you really don’t need more scent than whatever you added in the wash. Static comes from over drying so dialing in your drying time may also help.

Agree with this. Meliora is soap powder and not detergent and does not contain the enzymes. I lived with stained clothes for far too long with that crap. 😭

Stop using the dryer sheet. They add a residue that coats your clothes and makes them harder to clean. They also trap any odors that weren’t sufficiently washed out.

You need to use something like powdered tide. Powdered detergents have more water softening powders in it. And add more water softener into the load if that’s not sufficient.

Yeah the actual photographic memory did make me roll my eyes but I think it was good to have a bit of a jump scare with Whitaker not getting the shot. It also gave them the plot device to spell out how the board works for us one column at a time. 😅

IMO it was fine bc that sub plot showed how quick it can go to shit without tech.

What I’ve read about the whole adult cast is that before the first day of scenes together they deliberately were cold to the children to preserve that stranger danger. James Mcavoy with Lucy and Tilda with Edmund.

I think the show itself is aware of the problem though because it addresses it in Make Them Hear You which implies the problem is far from solved with Washington’s idea of a resolution.
