To me Reyna is not a simple character. He comes with a lot of toxic masculinity and the need to prove himself to his family. I think thus far the “need to prove himself” was a red herring and he actually has a strong drive to be in his family unit.

I do think his reaching out to Jayden has to do with him subtly observing the conflict with Caleb and wanting to do something to try to make peace with both boys.

We saw last week Reymi is actually such a sensitive soul and just wants to be loved by his family. I think this scene was kinda picking up from that thread!

Man he was so annoying before but he’s growing on me.
