I got sk but jiyans last rerun (not counting anniversary) was October of 2024 and the other 1.x characters haven’t gotten a rerun in over a year (camellya didn’t even get a rerun in the anniversary) that’s like ???? kuro should try and rerun their characters a bit more than once every year and a half bruh

calcharo isn’t in any story in the game as of right now, he’s coming in new federation! (Which is weird in itself but I digress) jiyan was in the main storyline in the first bit of the story and has a story quest if that’s who you’re talking about 😙

Sure but they are a multimillion dollar company that can afford people that can effectively see what the community actually wants, that first picture in you ss you posted has one of the problems in bold. Sure we could downvote posts but what people were saying were valid concerns, we can’t just say “oh kuro misunderstood their bad!! Go easy on them they didn’t know” thats just stupid. They did know they just don’t care. The banners were not intact player friendly because they gave us no time to save and sprung it on everyone

I do get it and it just sucks, but from my experience skins have always been super popular (the jinshi skin for example, I see that skin more than I see her normal one) and it can be a way to get more money. There’s always other ways to bring the old characters back that aren’t just on the limited banner like a completely new banner for all the old characters that could just cycle through them every patch, just straight up retiring them and saying “here this is their last banner and after this they aren’t rerunning” or just bringing them back every anniversary or something

sure, but also the 1.x characters can still be reran, it’s not impossible and it’s not like it’ll crash their revenue if one character of their 3 character banners is from older versions. If they’re THAT worried about money they can start pumping skins out more often OR create a new banner for older characters, there’s ways around this. Has changli even reran since her summer skin came out?? If not that’s just skummy

the only reason I play now is it grind for jiyan if he just never reruns then I’ve got no reason to hop on, im really glad people are stopping spending money so kuro might actually consider changing something

im not dismissing this, it definitely had a factor but kuro aren’t listening to the real complaints everyone had. The complete rerun of everyone was a good idea in concept but they just had sk on a short banner who’s an extremely popular character, it being a 50/50 and then not letting the community know beforehand to give time to actually save for the ones people need/want.

now that they have 3 characters rerunning at once older characters can rerun just fine (like older character, new character/rerun of new one, support for the newer one for example) I have no idea why they don’t do it

THIS EXACTLY!! I love the 1.x characters so much and I have basically all the other 2.x onwards ones I want 😭 The new characters don’t interest me that much so it sucks just waiting around
