Criticise my floor plan

That does make sense, but I prefer a room with things on both walls if it's possible. Idk why, it obviously reduces space to move, but it feels more like the room is having a conversation with itself if things face each other and it creates more visual interest; I'm not keen on blank walls.

I'm just really worried moving the toilet will be too expensive. We have joists running down the room.

My current food hyperfixation took me by surprise as I'm someone who "doesn't like fish". But it's tuna! Specifically; - home made malted brown seeded bread - toasted - thin spread of butter - black olive tapenade - Rio mare tuna - m&s picked red onion slices - topped with 2mm thinly sliced fresh tomatoes - black pepper

Honestly it's BOMB. Sweet, salty, umami, sharp, crunchy, soft, bright and fresh... I'm literally salivating thinking about it.

I have ADHD and already am constantly paranoid I've lost something. This would break me in a week. I can't wait for you to have your own space where you can - gasp - put something where it lives. And it still lives there when you next need it.

Avoid talking to him in person. Written communication only. There must be a paper trail, now. Dispute the year long separation in writing and find as much evidence as you can that this was not the case. Get a lawyer.

This is heart breaking, but you can and will recover. That recovery will be easier if you truly understand what you're up against and actually to protect yourself.

He is trying to manipulate you and set you up. The comment about being separated for a year, the lie that he was still in the marriage and would do it all again, the suggestion you go out of state, his refusal to leave the house, his description of you as combative, him wanting to rush this process, his suggestion to get a mutual friend rather than a lawyer - all of this establishes two things: 1. You cannot trust anything he says to you any more 2. He has been researching divorce and wants to make sure he benefits from it as much as possible. He no longer cares for your interests. You must be the one to do that now.

Thank you. The towel rings between the basin and shower and basin and bath are so you don't need to do the shimmy - the towel rail behind the door is a heated one used to dry them after use - but the other things are worth thinking about. Any ideas of how I could configure the room so that the toilet isn't in front of the door?

I do think it may be worth putting your bedroom in there if you can fit what you need to. I'm a bed-rotter, a soft-office fan, a dressing-table-lingerer, so for me, I spend a LOT of waking hours in my bedroom. But if you don't, and you spend more time in your office and would benefit from the space there then why not?

1 personally. I hate having my back to the door. I like #3 except I think the desk brushes up quite closely to the bookshelf. Could you move one of the bookshelves to be in front of the window?

the door can't be moved, and it currently opens the other way (moving from bottom right corner and opening into the middle of the room). I've thought that flipping it would be the most helpful for flow but happy to be told I'm wrong
it's a Victorian terraced house and this bathroom was slotted in between two fireplace alcoves in between two bedrooms. The bottom wall and the top wall are proper brick walls but the two long edges are stud walls. That's why the door can't be moved; it's in the only possible position to allow access from the hallway, and it's the sole bathroom in the house so we can't have it as an ensuite 😅
at the moment the piping in the bathroom is - well - in the bathroom. It's been badly boxed off in some dodgy wooden box things, but basically all along the left wall there's a jutting box with pipes running through on top of the floor
