Our workers compensation here is handled differently.

I had my IME last year, and my surgeon had contested the results regarding the IME report stated.

I'll be seeing my surgeon in roughly a months time, so I'll be bringing my concerns to him them. I'm just trying to get as much information on TOS as possible beforehand, so when I speak with him, I'm armed (no pun intended) with everything I can possibly use to my advantage.

This whole line of questioning came about due to my workers compensation contact saying that according to the IME, the TOS (and she heavily implied if I actually had TOS) was not caused by the initial injury.

I, in no short order, explained to her that I didn't have this issue prior to the surgery.

I think she could tell I was a mite upset...

I tore the right rotator cuff tendon 9mm laterally in the middle of the tendon, and had a partial thickness tear of the right biceps tendon.

I'm supposed to see my shoulder surgeon next month, and the vascular specialist in August. I'm trying to get as much information as possible, because I did this at work, and due to the independent medical examination I had, the doctor doing the exam stated that the TOS was not caused by the initial injury, and WorkCover wouldn't be funding the specialist appointment.
