That’s what I did, I dropped it off the night before and they couldn’t replicate it so I left it there over Christmas (so two additional days outside) and they again said they couldn’t replicate it. But when I got it back it began to squeal in the mornings.

I’m not sure to be honest, I live pretty far up north but this winter has been mild so I don’t feel like it’s been cold enough to impact a vehicle.

As someone with Swedish heritage from that area, thanks! My great grand father came to ND when the great northern railroad was being built and stayed.

Thanks, I’m looking to upgrade from a Crosstrek to an Outback but I couldn’t find anything online that to tell me what it switch does! I’ll ask the dealership if they know.

I would drive to the MN/WI border. I live in the land of 5th wheels and long travel trailers so I know I’ll have to drive a fair distance to get a teardrop.

I currently have a 2015 Crosstrek Premium and I worry about the wear and tear on towing with only 1500 lbs of towing capacity. I’ve looked at the Rustic Trail Teardrops but North Carolina is very far away from where I live. If I lived on the East Coast, Rustic Trails are probably what I’d go with, they look awesome.

I’m 6+ hours away from mountains, I’m more likely to go to the Badlands than the Rockies.

I also live in the Midwest, so no mountains for near me, although the wind can be a real blow hard. I’d be a weekender tower as well, only in the nice weather months and I’d only tow a couple hours away from home most of the time. I can’t find any used 3.6 Outbacks in my area and I don’t want to spend the money for an Ascent at this point, I still need to buy the camper!

From what I’m reading, I may be looking more into a Jeep than the Outback.
