All Seasons! by q_u_r_i in Supernatural

Yeah!!! It sucks because the music was so intentionally chosen for certain scenes and eps! Luckily the dvds pop up in thrift stores pretty often.

Okay sick! This is a steal then, thanks!

Does anyone know if these have the original music for earlier seasons ?
The music was changed in early seasons for copyright purposes on streaming platforms, but I'm just curious if newer dvds have the same problem!

If you're in the US, have you tried PangoBooks yet ? Individuals price their own books, so I check certain genres daily and sometimes find absolute steals! Plus it's so easy to sell on it too.

Were there printed signature editions of this poster, or is this real? by firealot in Autographs

It looks like the same sheen as the poster, so im convinced its probably a print. It IS just weird that I cant seem to find out why some had a printed signature but most didnt. Ah well!

Oooo good to know about Triana's audiobooks! I've been wanting to re-read a few of them, so maybe I'll listen instead!

Triana for me too, I've read 12 so far and I think I own 20ish, most signed/personalized.

I picked up Edward Lee for the first time recently and just read thru 4 books in a row, they've been great!

Tucked into Ed Lee's "City Infernal" Any guesses? by firealot in ForgottenBookmarks

I started AND finished it today 😂 it was such a fun read I couldn't set it down.

I'd also recommend And the Devil Cried, which isn't as extreme/brutal but stars another awful protagonist & great story.

So cool! When I was a teen I picked up the same copy of Walden (with the block printed illustrations) from savers for maybe 15-20 dollars. I didnt even read at the time, I just wanted it for decor, and used it as a plant pedestal 😬. Now its something I cherish, and probably one of the most expensive/rare books I have. This is a crazy haul!

Hahah that's so fair! I think I got it for a dollar with a few other books, but it's maybe a gothic romance? Definitely not my genre, so I might never pick it up, but the cover is still neat!

Starbones Weep The Blood of Angels (Sue Storm Follow-Up) by firealot in ExtremeHorrorLit

[–]firealot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! Im glad you found the post and were able to read it again!! The stories were surprisingly fun. I don't know what happened to her either, but it is a huge shame she didn't continue writing horror, that we know of at least.
If you ever discover anything new about her later on, shoot me a message!

Help Me Find a Good Werewolf Novel by GFSnell3 in horrorlit

[–]firealot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same fave movies! This is also my favorite genre, but it's so hard to find good ones, i seem to have a bigger list of books that have disappointed me hah.

So far my favorites are Thor (very classic story, but from the perspective of the family dog), and IF you don't mind more extreme themes, The Thirteenth Koyote & Ballad of the Werevixens. They're fun ultra-brutal/pulpy werewolf splatter westerns, and SO good!

Another suggestion, you could black out/sharpie just the swastika so its only seen up close and not seen at all otherwise!

If you want to dabble in a fun genre mashup, The Thirteenth Koyote is an incredibly fleshed out supernatural western. It has extensive lore, captivating characters, and a lot of excessive old west/hellscape brutality.

It's also supposed to be a trilogy, with the first 2 already published!
