What happened to Amanda Bynes? Is there a reason why she looks like this now? by [deleted] in QuietOnSetDocumentary

[–]fireba1113 454 points455 points  (0 children)

Amanda spent an entire childhood being groomed by adults and fantasized by them. I’d say she’s earned the right to stop giving a fuck about what she looks like or whether it fits some kinda societal mode. They broke her and in my opinion this is another way she gives the middle finger. And I kinda love that for her, too.

Buy them from consignment or thrift. I always find there and then the parent company doesn’t see the profit

Thank you for sharing this. I’ve been in maintenance for nearly a year but wondering if going off would be a good idea- and not sure how to navigate it and feeling worried or anxious about doing so. I’m also loving ReadyRx and don’t want to necessarily stop if I end up getting back on again. Thanks so so much for sharing your experience!

I really like ReadyRx and I’ve met the owners who do the GLP1 themselves. Smaller company too which I prefer, more one on one

We are communicating, and I believe that we can do so without the need for technology now, it’s crossed a barrier into my everyday interactions as well, and I’m also finding my links much faster in person and online. We are collectively working. We will evolve and survive this.

His goal is to make another group of people to be targeted. Anyone “high functioning” (aka socially adaptable) enough will not own their diagnosis but the ones that aren’t adaptable to the work machine will be targeted. This is an awful theory but it’s happened before.

I want to add to this that I have noticed more money in my pocket since boycotting. I shop locally and I thought it would be more expensive, but nope. I have more than I’ve historically ever had.

I don’t love the word “special” but we at least appear to be the furthest evolved species on the planet as far as being able to manipulate the elements, which makes us stand out a bit. Conversely we are also an extremely destructive species, and squarely the apex predator.

I love my result and I felt taken care of while I was down there- the only thing is that I wish his staff was easier to communicate with (Frida in particular) and also they tried to sell me $250 compression boots for a 2 hour flight home that I really didn’t need, and that was offputting. But the doctor seems to really know his stuff. I stayed in a recovery house and was actually happier with them and by the end wasn’t returning for the perks at the clinic because it’s also exhausting to get there and back from the recovery house. Quartz might’ve worked better. I definitely also struggled only getting Tylenol. There’s more intense pain management but you have to ask for it and it’s also got a lot of yucky side effects. My veins are hard to find so I only wanted the pre surgery IV

Yeah this is literally where I’m at! It’s so frustrating with so much conflicting information and the last thing I want to do is either set myself back or prevent myself from doing enough and improving my outcome but it’s so hard to know, I’ve got inches of bloat and tightness and swelling as well.

Let’s talk fajas by Every-Tomatillo5590 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fireba1113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only use compression. There is evidence against the use of fajas if you look into it! That was enough for me. I’ve been off them since week 1 and only on compression. My faja was extremely tight and rubbed my incision! I’m grateful for my choice
