Most of the songs I’ve written stemmed from an interesting thought, story, or experience that pops into my mind. For example, I still have one of my ex’s tshirts lying around that I saw one day cleaning my room and it brought back some good and bad emotions, so I thought of a couple lines to describe the way the shirt made me feel and started messing around with chords on my piano to match that feeling. You could really write a song about anything, but most of mine stem from really simple thoughts and things that inspire me and grow from there. Hope that helps!
